I spilt nail polish remover on the new TV remote what do I do?

Today we got a brand new expensive TV and after mum went to bed I was doing my nails i spilt remover everywhere and it went into the remote. It has stopped working! Ive tried changing batterys still not working! help?I spilt nail polish remover on the new TV remote what do I do?
hopefully it'll still work when it dries, but there's a chance it could've gotten fried (like when i accidentally spilled soda on my computer keyboard. Don't worry,you're not the only one). call the tv place like if u have direct TV or adams cable or what ever call and ask for a new one hopefully the TB didnt break

you need to get another one!
take the remote apart and dry the inside then put it back togather then let it dry 4 24 hours if it still doesnt work check if everything is plugged into the tv
let it dry for 24 hours
get a new remote. Changing batteries that are not depleted is not going to help much is it.
hmmm, maybe you can buy a universal remote or check to see how much it costs to order a new one. go ahead, fess up to your mom and be careful where you use that stuff
