Do our nails become yellow or yellow-ish if we apply black nail polish?

also if there are anymore side effects please mention!Do our nails become yellow or yellow-ish if we apply black nail polish?
They can... this is mostly because of two things - one, the lack of oxygen, but more importantly, it's just leftover pigment from the dye in the polish. You'll notice when you use dark red polish, your nails are left an orangey color. Blue polish, for whatever reason, seems to come up easily regardless. You can prevent the majority of this pigment from staining your nails by applying a clear coat before applying the polish - but there's no way to completely stop this from happening.Do our nails become yellow or yellow-ish if we apply black nail polish?
Um they become yellow because of any nail polish, and they become yellow because of the chemicals in the nail polish and sometimes, nail bit-ting and poor nutrition. Just keep them with out any nail polish for a few days and that should help also use some hand lotions with vitamins, that should;d help alot.
I believe it is the acetone in the nail polish remover that causes the yellowing of the nail. Get non acetone remover to prevent that.
NO THEY DONT, THEY ONLY REASON THEY TURN YELLOW IS DUE TO LACK OF OXYGEN, LIKE LEAVING NAIL POLISH ON TO LONG, OR IF YOU ARE A SMOKER. THERE ARE REALLY NO SIDE EFFECTS TO NAIL POLISH AS LONG AS YOU TAKE CARE OF YOUR NAILS. GOOD LUCK HOPE YOU FIND WHAT YOUR LOOKING FOR!!
