Do you use hand lotion a lot? If there is a residue on your nail of anything, especially lotion, it will prevent nail polish or treatments from ';sticking'; to your natural nail. Sometimes it can help if you lightly wipe your nails with a nail polish remover before applying a nail product. Lightly stroke it on each nail, wash your hands and dry well, and then try to apply your polish or treatment. Also, you still need to make sure that you wear gloves if you are doing household chores or have your hands in water a lot. Water makes your nail fibres swell, and then they shrink when they dry, and that fluctuation can weaken the bonding of nail products to your nails.Nail polish keeps meeling off my nails any suggestions as to how to stop it?
put s top coat clear every 3 days
bottom coat. base coat. then top coat.

it might just be the nail polish. maybe it is too old or it just isn't good nail polish try these kinds they are really good.

Revlon

Sally Handson

Sally handson Hard as diamond.

The sally handson is the best and the hard as diamond (or crystal?) is the best because it stays really hard.

You can find these at you local pharmacy or your local walmart / target(places like that)

Hope I Helped:)
You need a base coat and a top coat. Also, the fast drying formulas tend to peel no matter what, so you might just try a new brand/style of polish.
you really need a top coat. I use Sally Hansen Diamond, and it works really well!
I find the more coats i have on, the easier it peels off! try 2 stick to 1 coat of a good nail polish
use a base coat to protect your nail from the chemicals of the nail polish. then top it with clear polish to make it shinny.

the peeling is just normal. goes the same for me most of the time because i do stuff like washing dishes or clothes that make the polish on my nails brittle thats why it peels off. maybe you are doing similar activities like washing that exposes your nails to water, soap, etc...

the best thing you can do is to use coats and keep them thin.

do not apply thick polish. remember to keep them THIN!
the answer is to use a base coat and top coal but you have to wash your hands with soap before applying nail polish because the oil on your hands will cause the polish to chip easily!!
Why don't you try applying more coats of your shades? It provides a filled look.
Try using a light buffer like a Sand Trulte in ';fine'; on your nails first. That roughens up the base and give sth epoilish something to stick to.

Then cleanyour nails with polish remover, but not the stuff with all kinds of 'treatments' in it - just the basic kind.

Then brush your nails with a light touch of vinegar (using a cotton ball) and let it dry.

Now, apply the nail polish. Let it dry well between coats (about 5-10 minutes). If you want to use hand lotion, use it only after the polish is completely dry - maybe 2 hours later.
