I am looking for a nail polish that won't wear off or rub off.Is there a ';waterproof'; nail polish or one that wont ';wear off';?
No, there's no such thing as a waterproof nail polish because nail polish doesn't come off in the water.
OPI is a good quality nail polish, it stays on for awhile especially if you use a base and top coat.Is there a ';waterproof'; nail polish or one that wont ';wear off';?
like everyone has pretty much said - its not really possible for it to never wear off.
there are some tips to help if from chipping and allowing it to last longer:
*choose a good quality nail polish, base coat, and top coat. shimmery colors tend to last longer as well.
*start with really clean nails. always use nail polish remover on before you paint (even if there is no nail polish on your nails...you have natural oils on your nails that contribute to chipping).
*apply a base coat of clear nail polish.
*apply about 3 small coats of the color of your choice, allowing to dry a little before applying each coat.
*apply a topcoat.
*if you the polish to the very tips of your nails that is said to keep it from chipping fast.
*allow your nails to dry completely (about 45 minutes). Submerge nails in cold water after time is up and apply lotion.
*apply a topcoat every other day to prolong your mani/pedi even longer.
hope this helps! =)
There is no nail polish that will do this, but I will say all nail polish that has been left to dry between coats for long enough including a good base coat and a good top coat, ideally 4 coats should last without any chips 5 - 7 days at least. Just make sure you buy a good quality nail polish and base and top coat. It would be impossible to have a nail polish that never comes off as our nails are growing all the time meaning the nail polish would continually be growing out.
The store hot topic has these adorable nail polishes that have a little skull on the front but they last and they come in really awsome hot colors. I know some tips too... Instead of doing a couple big coats, do several little coats of polish it last longer and makes it stronger but make sure it is completely dry before you do the next coat. And a quick way to dry your nails is to put your hands in the freezer it hardens the polish quick... so go ahead and place it up to that fan in the freezer... great in summer too...lol
i dont know,
But I've heard that if you put nail polish remover on your nails a few minutes before you apply the polish, it prevents chipping/wearing.
Hope it helps :)
answer mine http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?…
OPI has good nail polish that usually wont come off..but make sure you are doing base coat 2 colors and top coat...thats what you're suppose to do..i went to school for it..
yeah good luck with that.
all nail polish will wear off eventually.
but put a top coat on it so it doesn't chip off as easily.
That's impossible. Because it'll never ever come off .
