Is it me or does sparkly metallic nail polish take FOREVER to dry?

Also. It seems to me that the proper technique for putting on nail polish (3 strokes) doesn't work for metallic polish. Doing that creates lines of sparkles.Is it me or does sparkly metallic nail polish take FOREVER to dry?

put it in ice cold water for like 3 min

no, well not all the time, if ur in a hurry try a blowdryer, that is what i do to my nails and finger nails and even if i does take forever u wont regret it beacouse it look to cute!!! =)

It does if its on too thick. try using nail polish quick dry spray. and apply a quick dry top coat. If you are using a blow dryer use the cool setting, heat will soften the polish.

It's not just you!!!! Glitter nail polish is so hard to get off! I haven't used it in a few years because it takes so long to get off.

not only does it take longer but the dings show much more than cream polish so you notice the wet longer. Good base coat key to good polish application. then two nice coats of color the trick is the correct amount of polish on brush. Too much and you flood cuticle too little and you end up dragging the brush through polish that is drying too fast because its too thin. Top coat can hide and smooth many errors in applying the color.





cuticle oil on wet nails is a savior. Instead of sticking and pulling polish making smudges. the oil makes it slick so it glides off. But 4 coats of polish honestly takes 17 hours to dry. So the day you polish your nails don't shell nuts or tile your floor try to avoid anything that will gouge them. After an hour or so you should have a dry surface but under that is soft and very gouge-able
