Is it okay to add a little water to thick nail polish?

my nail polish is super thick and i was wondering if a little water would help dilute it.Is it okay to add a little water to thick nail polish?

water wont do anything, add a few drops of nail polish remover into the bottle, that will help! i do it all the time with my old nail polishes :)
Don't add water to thick polish. Just warm it up. Water messes up nail polish even worse.
No, add nail polish remover; how ironic, huh? but yeah. That's the only thing that works to dilute it, water will mess it up.
Noo instead add a little bit of nail polish remover. I swear it works. It makes in more liquidy.. but you gotta shake it real good.
no, nail polish is either lacquer or enamel, which are not water soluble.

i would use nail polish remover just a little
just roll the bottle between your hands so it warms up a bit, it should thin out
