the couch is red...How do I get duct tape residue off of a couch. I tried nail polish remover. That did not do a thing...?
Wd 40 will remove the duct tape but then you have to remove the oily residue from the WD40
Usually some Dawn dish soap will do the trick.
Do not wet the material but rather whip up suds and apply that and blot, blot, blot.
You can also try white vinegar on a clean white terry cloth wash cloth, and scrub it, again do not soak. How do I get duct tape residue off of a couch. I tried nail polish remover. That did not do a thing...?
have you tried rubbing alcohol?
warm soapy water..
funny thing is when i first glanced at your question i thought you said crotch..not couch
...wheres my mind at heh
Goo Gone is specifically made for removing sticky or waxy residue from household items, walls, fabrics, etc.
in the medical field we have this stuff called adhesive remover that comes in packets like alcohol. I don't know where to get it though.
sorry:(
There is a glue remover called ooops it really works well on glue residue good luck
Lighter fluid removes adhesives from most surfaces, but if your couch is cloth you probably do not want to do this. Nail polish remover is pretty flammable too, so I probably wouldn't have tried that if it's cloth.
cigarette lighter fluid.
rubbing alcohol works same but it evaporates too fast.
